A Sure Start Service for first time parents in Whitehaven,
Cleator Moor, & Egremont.
During the first year of your baby’s life, you will have much to learn and many questions to ask.
Parenting Plus offers support through this exciting time.

After your new born visit your Parenting Plus visitor

• Will visit you again, bringing with them a napsack- which includes books, toys, and useful information including weaning and safety leaflets as well as your free gift.
• Will visit you again when your baby is 6 months, 9 months and 12 months old (or more if you would like some extra help and support).
• Will answer your questions about your baby’s needs and development.
• Can introduce you to: Carer & Toddler, Infant Massage, Speech & Language groups.

If you are a shy parent/carer then your Parenting Plus visitor can also go along with you to these groups for the first few weeks until you are settled.
