Whitehaven Nursery
Our Whitehaven Nursery is situated in Whitehaven town centre, a convenient place with easy access to bus routes and a short distance to Whitehaven Train Station. Our setting has been open for over 20 years and we are proud to offer you long term qualified friendly staff within an environment where 2 – 4-year-olds feel welcome, safe, and secure whilst they learn and grow. Our open plan room encourages imaginative little minds to develop to their full potential through a variety of creative activities. The children can explore in a free flow environment, where they are able to extend their own interests. We pride ourselves on the bond we build with both parents and children.

Our large, bright, open plan setting allows for our children to freely move to any area they wish. We have a cute kitchen and dining room area that even includes a fireplace! The children can have quiet time within the book corner. We offer a carpeted area for building and construction. We encourage musical play with all sorts of instruments for them to explore. Our enthusiastic, caring and nurturing staff are committed to encourage learning through fun and play. They provide a sensitive and responsive approach to the individual needs of your child.
Our nursery opens out into our lovely play area which is spacious and well-equipped. There is a wealth of play here – from a climbing section for children to run and jump, a sand pit, book corner, and water play. A perfect place to improve their physical, social and cognitive development.
